The NSW Police Entrance Examination is used to select recruits for NSW Police. It is administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) on behalf of NSW Police.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: The Police Entrance Exam will no longer be a mandatory requirement for application to the NSW Police force following the May 2019 class (339) intake.   As such the Police Entrance Exam will remain to be a mandatory requirement for applicants wishing to be included in the May class only.   For further information please refer to the NSW Police Recruitment website.
